Different assignments. One responsibility: stewardship.
Leadership has taught me that purpose does not always express itself through a single profession, organization, or assignment. Sometimes we are entrusted with different fields, different people, and different responsibilities across different seasons.
The challenge is not simply to do many things. It is to understand why each assignment has been entrusted to us and to steward it with excellence, integrity, wisdom, and discipline.
Whether the work involves developing people, strengthening institutions, teaching, healthcare, enterprise, writing, publishing, or serving across cultures, the principle remains the same:
Build what has been entrusted to you. Develop people who can carry it. Create structures that can sustain it. And leave something of value for those who come after you.
I am increasingly convinced that meaningful impact is not measured by how much one can personally carry, but by what becomes stronger, more capable, and more sustainable because one was given the opportunity to serve.
There is still much to learn. Much to build. And much to steward.
To God be the glory for the grace to serve.
